back up lights not working

I have been working on this for about a week, and cant figure it out. My back up lights wont work at all. I checked all the bulbs and made sure there wasnt any loose wires. Someone mentioned to me that there is a switch either under the dash, or on the transmission that makes the backup lights turn on.

Does anyone know where this switch is located? Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

I would check the fuse again.....I had the same thing happen to me .....on the same note, my cruise wouldn't work and my A/C wouldn't blow cold air either.

So I checked the fuse, it was good however if I wiggled the fuse or pushed in real hard everything would work fine. I think I have some sort of short in my fuse box.

Just thought I would let you know of my mishap. Just make sure that this isn't the case. All of these sources are on the same # fuse.

Good Luck

What year is your truck, is it four wheel drive and is it automatic or manual transmission?
