About once a week the 5amp fuse that controls my instruments on the instrument panel, burns out. Sometimes it happens when I plug in my trailer hookup. Sometimes it happen when I start the truck up other times when it setting ideling. Any suggestions as to what my problem is.

 

Odds are about 100% that a wire is not properly grounded.
