The digital odometer on my ‘00 XLT occasionally goes blank. Still counts and works fine. Is there a fix other than replacing the instrument cluster?

 

Oh yeah, many owners have had the same problem. It's usually fixed by removing the cluster and remelting the solder joints. If you search this site you will find lots more discussions about this. My truck has the issue too but I haven't tried to fix it yet.
