Anyone out there installed lights for the factory (or aftermarket) running boards on a SCREW? I've seen the lights on the stock Expy running boards, looks cool and would help when getting into the truck at night. I'm thinking I'll just buy a couple of pairs of weatherproof lights (no funky colors, just clear) and wire them to the cab light circuit. I'm hoping there's a connector available where the light for the Expy running board lights would hook up to. Any suggestions???

I am looking to do the same thing with my SCREW. I like the boards on the King Ranch SCREW. They have the lighting in them like the Expy boards.

I installed my own on the forward curve of the running boards and connected them to a timer wired into the "unlock" button on my key fob. I purchased them at a local speed shop, no fancy trademark or anything but what was important to me was they had to have very little protruding from the back to allow for a snug fit on the boards. I also applied clear silicone beading around the edge for both waterproofing and a finish look. Pics in signature do not show them, sorry. Good luck, ennis
