Today when I was stoped waiting to make a right turn I heard a beeping sound coming from under the dash it was a fast beep about 5 beeps and I only heard it the one time. Has anyone else had this happen before or heard about it before as I would like to know what it was.

 

its the airbag monitor, it beeps 5 times if it looses continuity through the airbag lamp on the dash. Also the airbag system is covered under warranty for 50,000 miles, so take it in and have it checked out.

 

I suppose that airbag thing is possible, but my guess is maybe he ran over a roadrunner?

 

um.. did you lose your pager?

 

It's signalling a problem with the airbag. You need to get the truck to the dealer.

 

maybe you were backing up

Thanks guys I take it in and have the air bag system looked at. So far it only done the one time just one of them strange things and I'm sure when I'm at the dealer getting looked at I'll get the classic phrase "thats normal".
