2001 F150 rear parking/clearance lights no work
Hi Everyone,
I'm new here. I've got a fully built 2001 ford lightning. But I digress, I'm working on someone else's 2001 quad cab F150 XLT 4x4 tonight. All the outside lights work, EXCEPT the rear parking/clearance lights and the license plate lights.
Headlights come on, All Turn signals front/ back work, Hazards x4, Brake lights work, and Reverse lights work. I thought it might have a bad head light switch, so I swapped it with the one from my 01 lightning pickup. Same thing swapped. Put mine back in the Lightning, my switch works fine in my truck; but not this one??? I found a wire pin check for the main wire harness on here, and did that. Main Harness pins 10,5 show continuity when pin checked with a multimeter???! Should it be like this, allowing the switch to keep circuit closed till lights are turned on?

So I'm guessing one is grounding out, or they're rubbed together? Looking for some advise! Appreciate any help.
