I have an 05 f150 and my radio will not turn off when I open my driver side door. It does sometimes and other times it is delayed. The passenger side door operates everything as it should. Also cabin lights will not come on sometimes or is just delayed when driver door is opened. From my research, I believe it is a grounding issue but I'm not sure how to fix that.

 

Check the wiring bundle going into the door.

 

x2 - It's that rubber piece that goes from the cab to the door. Even though that might not look damaged, take it apart, you might find a pinched wire, or a bigger surprise.
