The parking brake icon in the cluster will not turn off. Any ideas as to why it stays on? 2005 F150 Crew Cab

 

Check the switch on the parking brake.

Or your parking brake cable is loose and the pedal is sagging.

When mine was messed up, I used to have to stop, get out of the truck and monkey with it. Even bumps would set it off... lol
