Cheap wiring

2012 EcoBoost platinum screw. Bought with 5X,XXX miles now 130,XXX miles.
Is anyone else disappointed with how cheap and crappy the wiring has gotten on Ford vehicles? I've owned 7th 8th 9th 10th and 12th generation F-150s. I've loved all of them until the 12th gen. We've owned it for 4 years now and have had electrical problems since buying it. Tire pressure sensors went out three of the four wheels the first year we owned it. In the last year-and-a-half had to replace:
wiring harness for the locking differential
wiring harness for the transfer case.
wiring harness for sensor in intercooler tube
ABS wiring harness
wiring harness for the other air sensor by the throttle body
and now looks like replacing wiring harness for the map sensor by the air filter

I still have my 84, will never get rid of that, love that truck. I'm not going to say this is the last Ford I'll ever buy either because I'm sure every other automakers downgrading and using the cheapest possible wire they can find. It's frustrating as heck to keep having codes pop and to trace down the problems to a brittle broken wire. This truck has actually been treated way better than any of my others and being my wife's DD it does less truck things than any of my previous ones have done, not going to say it's a pavement princess but it certainly doesn't get beat on either. Yes I live in the Rust Belt or salt belt or whatever you want to call it but I wash the vehicle regularly and keep the engine bay clean. Never had so many wiring issues on a vehicle in the 20 plus years I've been driving. I love Ford trucks and maybe I just got a lemon, but it's disheartening to experience the demise of a brand I've known to be so reliable. There now I'm done venting

Eh... Chinese mass produced connectors are the worst. Even Foxconn used to be good. But they moved their manufacturing to China.

A lot of wiring nowadays are aluminum tinned copper and the insulation is thin or because of fire retardants that are mandated, not much testing has been done in longevity.

I can go on and on. I work with electronics on a daily basis and from wiring to caps, to resistors, LEDs, etc, are going to the wayside. Even top cap brands like Rubycon for example has even let me down as of late.

As they say it: Things are disposable...
