2008 Expedition Dash lights blink

2008 Expedition 28k miles. Dash lights, nav light and when engine cuts off interior lights blink until they automatically shutoff. I'm totally in the dark about this.

Check your fuse panels for corrosion.

Also get your battery load tested, clean the terminals.

Dry storage

I'll check the fuse box but this truck sits in dry storage so no corrosion should exist and the battery terminals look good as the day I bought it.

I'll purchase the connecters and see if that works. Thanks for the link!

How old is the battery? You need to make sure it's fully charged and get it load tested. A weak battery can do all kinds of strange things with vehicle electronics.

The battery (Interstate) is fairly new. I did recharge it about 3 times due to it dying sitting in storage. Since I don't drive it much the battery died. But I will definitely test the load. Thanks again!

Fully discharging lead acid batteries isn't good for them. It can actually damage the plates.

That is why there are AGM and Deep Cycle Batteries.
