Fuel Gauge

05 f150, filled up tank this morning and the fuel gauge took about 15 min to make it to 3/4 mark, but tank is full. Is this a sending unit problem?

Sometimes the float will get stuck. I've had this problem before on my truck. I just used the up the fuel, and next time I filled up, all was good.

This can also happen if you leave the engine running or the key on when fueling.

It seems fine now. It took a while for it to come up. I always shut off engine when fueling.
