I have a '97 F-150 XLT with the 4.6L and the cruise control is dead. The dealer service center said it is the servo amplifier, which they would gladly replace for about $500.00!!
Is this device the unit mounted on the fender with the cable going to the throttle body? Or is it a box under the dash? If I know what it is I can go to the wrecking yard and get one myself.
