2001 f150, v6, manual transmission. Cruise control self check initiates after holding off button and turning switch on. Cruise light blinks again when pressing the on switch. After that, no cruise light indicator on pressing resume, coast or set. Have already replaced pressure switch on master cylinder - it was faulty. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Did you also replace the harness for the pressure switch? The recall harness has an inline fuse in it.

 

Yes. The new harness came with the switch.

 

Not trying to hijack your thread, but where would that fuse be? My cruise does nothing all and wont even self check, cannot even find a fuse listed for it in owners manual other than something called a redundant xruise something or other. Fuse number 14 but its good.. my truck is an 06 fx4 auto.
