I have a 2004 Ford F150 XLT, 5.4L 4x4. Last year I changed to Alternator and battery, recently I noticed that the dash lights were dim and radio display is either completely out or freezes in place but continues to work. Now the battery light comes on when the truck is not under power and as soon as I give it gas the light goes out and then today the truck stalled twice while I was stopped. Both times it started right back up. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

 

Get the alternator and battery load tested. Parts stores do this free in the parking lot.
