Why don't the gridlines in the backup camera work

Sounds like the settings are for the "Driver Assist" options have the Guidelines turned off... I turned mine off, as I didn't care for them, so they can also be turned on.
Take a look in the owners manual under "Information Displays" and there should be more info on this.
