Keyless Entry Pad

I just purchased a 2017 F-150 and it did not come with a factory installed keyless entry pad. Do the wireless Keyless Entry pads that you can order thru Ford work very well?

I believe as far as the input on the pickup, the security system treats that the same as a programmed key/remote

I don't have any personal experience with them, but I imagine they would work just fine
