I'm considering plugging in one of these adaptors into my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT (dressed up F150) and getting the iOS app. Does anyone know if these will work on the 2006 trucks, or if transmission temperature is available through the adaptor?

I haven't tried one of these myself... but I do know the Ford OBDII is quite generic. So chances are it will work.

Now will it give you trans temp thru it is another question... that would be more to do with the programming of the app to find the values from the ECM.
