Ford Brand Underbody Lighting

Has anyone here ever checked out the underbody lighting that Ford dealerships sell aftermarket? If so, what were your impressions? If not, I'm going to find out tomorrow what there specs are.

Well, I found out that the kit is sold as two different components. A right side and left side kit. Each one is $150 each. Yep, you heard me right. I asked at 3 different dealerships if they could specify the hardware within these kits and none could, so I have to put in a call tomorrow to Ford in Detroit and pray to God someone actually knows what they are selling.

$300.00

I put lights under my truck.

I used sealed trailer stop/ tail lights. Hooked them up to the inside light, so they come on with the door lock.

I hooked up to the power wire under the sill plate on the drivers side. Drilled a hole in the body, ran a wire out, and sealed the hole.

Cost about $15.00, and took about 1 hour.

Right now they run off the inside lights. I am going to change it so its on a relay when I put a light in the bed.
