Unhappy Driver door wont lock and unlock (electric)

Hello everyone.

I was seeking some advice before I went out and bought any parts to fix this issue I have.

Basically my driver door on my 2002 super crew wont lock. Now when I do try and lock it via the remote or the button inside the truck it will make a very unusual sound like something is jammed.

This tells me that it is getting power. I have taken the inside door panel off and I can move the rod that goes up the inside of the door without a problem. It is only when it tried to lock itself.

Do you think it would need the door Lock actuator motor replacing?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks
