2011..Help with key on power
2011..Help with key on power
I need a key on power source near the radio for a radar detector. I'm currently tapped to constant power for the radio. Can anyone help with a wire color.I tried searching and I'm sucking at that right now. New truck..not used to the 'new" colors.
I only have a 2012, but the 2011 should be the same, if memory serves me correctly.
- 2009 & 2010 were the same, and then 2011 on were the same ??
Use an add a fuse in BCM positions F38 or F32.
These are both from the output of the accessory delay relay
Once you have the add-a-fuse installed, then run the wire the same route as the radio antenna around the glove box to the center console.
If you feel like risking it, you can try the Gray w/ Blue stripe wire, this is the output of F38. This is on the Radio ( Audio Control Module ) connector pin #2
- This is sharing the fuse F38 instead of making a new fused circuit with the add-a-fuse.
