Ok I have a 2011 ford platinum that is a theft recovery. They stole the seats and the guys I bought it from put 09 seats back in the truck. Everything works except the heated and cooled part. I have been to different ford dealerships each one telling me they can make this work but none have. The did offerend to switch everything out of the seats for $2500 but I can get different seats cheaper I think. Does anyone know if you can rewire or reflash and make these seats work? If these seats wont work will it have to be seats from a 2011 model to work? I have heard alot of different stories but I honestly dont know what to believe. The guys have offered my money back on the seats but I would like to just use these seats if possible since they are already installed. Any help would be much appreciated.
