2009 F150 Starter Issue

I have a '09 F150 5.4 Triton Engine. A few days ago out of nowhere I went to start my truck and it just turned over and over and over until the battery drained. Someone told me it was a bad starter that wasn't engaging the engine when it tried to start, like worn teeth. No issues ever before this morning.

I had a new starter installed on the truck and two days later it did it again. I had both keys with me because someone else told me the sensor in the key could be bad. Tried the other key and it started right up. I've been using the other key for three days now and haven't had any issues. Any Ideas? I'm clueless.

Thanks In Advance

There's nothing wrong with the starter if it turns the engine over.

Sounds like the transponder chip in one of your keys has a problem.

It makes the noise like it wants to crank but it just won't turn over completely. It's like the the starter hangs up and just tries to start it for about 45 seconds and then it goes dead

Today it did the same thing but with the good key I have been using all week. The other key was in the truck, does the transponder have to be in the ignition to read or does it read the transponder as soon as you get in the truck.

Thanks for all your help.
