Hey All,

I purchased a 92 F150 FlareSide and I'm in the process of revamping it a bit. I purchased a replacement cargo light because the previous owner had a camper shell so it was naturally removed. I have it installed with new bulb and all. The original light clip was taped up and tucked away and it's in excellent shape. How do I actually turn on the cargo light? It is only a cargo light and not a 3rd brake light.

I also have the bed off and tail light blubs removed while I work on rear end.

 

Turn the headlight switch all the way to the left, it should come on with the dome light. It should also come on with the dome light when you open the door.

 

You're right! The door wasn't setting off the cargo light when open but it was a stuck button. Also, when I turned the *** to the left for the lights and interior dim I thought I was turning it all the way but a little extra turns the cargo light and cabin light on.
