To start off its an 06 F150 quad cab, 4x4. The windows were giving dsome greif before the winter, but now that its starting to warm up I noticed they won't work at all. heres the weird part, if I try to actuate the windows, the indicator light on my heated mirrirs switch lights up. Also, If the door is open with the kep in to work the windows, every time I hit a window switch, it resets the door ajar and I get an open door chime. My guess is in a short in the door where the wires run through.

I found the switch cleaning thread on here and it didn't work, I cleaned all four switches.

Thoughts??

 

You need to check the wire bundle that goes into the door.
