Dome light off and on and slow battery drain

I have an 02 King Ranch. When I open my door, the dome lights/step lights/interior door lights go off and on and I can hear the relay clicking in the fuse box. After the truck sits for about 8 hours, it cranks slow, but fires up. I replaced the relay for my interior lamps but no dice. I was told to check the back of the interior fuse box for corrosion in case my windshield wasn't properly sealed. Haven't done it yet, but I have had the truck for 3 years and the windshield has never been replaced in that time and this problem started about 3 weeks ago...any ideas? I also haven't changed any wiring or added any electronic accessories in months.

ok, before i go ripping that box out, here is exactly whats happening...1. open the door and dome an step lights flip on and off every few seconds. 2. Go to start it and it has a slow crank (only after sitting a while). every accessory in the truck works (windows, locks, stereo, etc.) 3. While i'm driving at any rpm, headlights flicker every 5-10 seconds and when this happens, the engine misses and my radio and dash lights flicker with headlights. no lights or accessories randomly come on or anything when this happens or at any time. its annoying and getting worse. maybe voltage reg? alternator?

It's easy enough to go to a parts store and get a free battery and alternator test in the parking lot.
