Now I'm pretty sure that this won't work but I want to confirm. I don't smoke nor will I let anyone smoke in my car nor do I use the lighter. Can I remove that and replace the socket with another 12v one with no issues? Or will more wiring need to take place. Or better yet I would like to wire it two usb plugs in its place, as for some reason I cannot charge both my wifes and my phone off of that plug. I know how to do the wiring but I'm wondering if this has already been done or if there are any tips. Thanks.
