I know this topic gets beat to death and some people have luck with fixes and some don't. Im on the don't list. Everything worked fine one day, and the next no such luck. My truck is a 04 new body reg cab. So heres where Im at.....

All fuses and relays are good.
Fixed the purple wire splice.
No door ajar light on in cluster.
Radio works fine, but does not stay on when key is turned off until door is opened. It turns off immediately.
Interior light switch/dimmer checks out ok and lights do come on manually and center dome light comes on when key is removed.
Brake cleaned/WD40'd the latches several times.
I DO have power to the switches in the doors along with the pulse signal from the bcm.

EDIT: I just pulled the fuse box from the kick panel and cleaned it out. It had dirt all inside it, not suprising since the floor under the mat(rubber floor covering) was covered in dried mud. Still no luck on fixing the problem.

So Im really stumped here. Ive removed half the interior more than once looking for problems and tracing wiring but no luck. I really don't miss the door/key in buzzer but I would like for my interior and bed lights to work when theyre supposed to.

So any suggestions? Ive read threads and done searches until my head hurts. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know Im not the only one with this problem.

I see this is an old thread but thought I'd give it a shot anyway. Sorry no answers for you here, I'm just going thru the same thing and posted yesterday, "gremlins in electrical" and getting lots of views but no response.
Took mine to the dealer today and waiting on the call from them.
Just wondered if you ever found out what your problem was.
