This thing has been nothing but a glitch fest from day one. It doesn't recognize my clicker sometimes causing the alarm to sound when i manually unlock the doors. The dealer always denied something was wrong with it, so i unplugged my horn (dangerous I know) and lived with it.

Well now its really getting bad. And yes i have replaced the batteries in my clicker, to no avail. Even if i get really close to the unit it wont trigger it.

The problem is now im left stranded and cant start my truck. Its endlessly aggravating. I now live 2000 miles away front he dealer that originally installed it and I need to do something myself.

When i simply unplug it, my truck still wont start, even if i disable the alarm and then unplug it the truck still wont start.

I would like to disable whatever portion of the device is keeping my truck from starting, or worse case scenario i would like to get rid of the whole device all together.
