Light green/Orange (strip) wire.

What conditions does this happen? Is this only when the engine is running or any time?

The diagram (Haynes unfortunately) show that it's a brake/turn combo light. The high side of the bulb is hot (+12 v)with brake or L.Turn. The low side of the bulb is Hot with parking lights.

You are going to have to trace the wire back from the tail lens OR. check the Light green/Orange wire at the Multi Function (turn) switch.

You will want some sort of test probe. Clamp it to a good piece of metal or Negative battery terminal.
