2007 f150 xlt fuses 14 keeps blowing

fuse 14 keeps burning in my 2007 f150 last month was when it first happened i was driving and some strange noise came over the radio then my abs and e brake light came on changed the fuse and the same thing happened the next day. I check my abs censors and they were okay. I changed my fuse again and turned off the speed volume control it didnt blow for about a month until yesterday while driving to work . i changed the fuse but when i started it up my truck it made a loud screeching noise i turned it off and pulled out my keys. I put my key back into start and without turning it all the way it started i noticed the same screeching noise then the fuse blew so i turned it off again. So now my fuse is still blown and truck starts fine abs and e brake light are on, reverse lights are out ,a/c is not blowing cold air. Can anyone help me out

the list of items that Fuse # 14 powers ( answers why the list of items does not work ).

1. Reverse lamps to the DTR ( digital Trans Range ) Sensor.
2. Heated PCV Sensor ( if 5.4L - you did not specify ).
3. ABS control Module
4. A/C High Pressure Switch
5. speed control deactivator switch ( chances are your Cruise Ctrl does not work either ).
6. DRL relay ( if equip'd ).

If I were to take a SWAG, I would say either the ABS module or the AC is causing the issue.
I have a suspicion that it is the AC compressor locked up ??

Unplug the ABS module and the AC compressor, replace the fuse and retest.
- Might be worth having someone start the truck for you, so you can keep an eye on the AC compressor to see if it is spinning when the truck starts or if the pulley is locked.

If the fuse does not blow, turn off the truck, plug in the ABS module and try again. If it does not blow, turn off the truck and plug in the AC 9 I would suspect it blows on one of these ).

Ford F-150 2006 reverse light blow twice in one day shorts

Yesterday my Ford F-150 2006 reverse light blow twice then the abs light came on so I got a third fuse so while my truck is running I was pulling off the fuse cover then my engine turn off then the truck wouldn't start so started playing the fuse and the truck started. I pull out the fuse box but I didn't see any burn spots on it so put it back in. Anyone have a solution to this problem.
Also the check gauge warning light came on too.

I realize these are old posts, however I'm sure there are others with this same problem currently, besides myself. My ABS and emergency brake light stayed on and my 2006 F150 continually blew the #14 fuse, also causing the A/C not to work. My friend Chuck C. saved the day and found the problem. This must be a common problem, because I had just replaced the engine and decided to pull the PCV valve heater off the original engine. The one on the original engine also had its wires exposed at this end.

PCV valve heater wires were shorting out, blowing #14 fuse.
