URGENT 05 f 150 headlight problem

Please help ASAP. Must leave tonight on 600 mile trip. My driver side low beam isn't working. Not getting any power at all. Checked # 25 fuse: good but no power in fuse box for it. Passenger side is working but #23 fuse is same way as #25. I do not understand. BTW, I have the most basic 05 F-150 supercab made. It was a fleet truck. VERY BASIC !! Can some one please help me soon. Thanks in advance.

Did you have the main headlamp switch turned to the headlamp position and check that the MFS is is the back ( low ) position before you metered from ground to the pins on the back of the fuses ?

The full route is Fuse #40 to the main headlamp switch to the MFS to the 2 low beam fuses to the headlamps.

Check the fuses with a meter to the pins on the back, while installed, to a know good ground.

sorry about that, MFS = MultiFunction Switch.
- get too caught up in talking abbreviations sometimes.

This is name of the turn signal stalk
- that also has the other controls for windshield wiper/ washer controls, and you push forward to get the high beams, etc.

When you say Fuse #40 is good, did you use a meter to the pins on the back of it ?
- This is the only 100 %sure way to know if the fuse is good.

I used a test light and both pins made the light come on brightly.

If the output of each fuse shows as power, and neither low beam circuit in the bulb connector have power, that is an issue from the fuse panel to the bulb connector ( diagram above ).

Make sure when you are checking for power at the bulb connector you test with both the ground to the bulb connector as well as a different known good ground.
