Battery Saver Question

Hey guys I was looking for some help with a battery saver circuit problem. My interior lamp timer on my '99 f-150 has stopped working completely. I end up leaving my doors open for long periods of time due to work related issues but never worried about the battery draining because the timer shut everything down after 45 minutes. Now I just noticed after a few hours the lights are still on and as expected, the battery is weak on a restart. This is a minor inconvenience but if its just the timer gone bad, can it easily be replaced? Where would it be located? All other components (windows, radio, idiot lights) are working fine.
