heater/blower fan
2002 excab fan stays on when key is removed. Dead battery after work today. Got a jump,made it home,turned it off,started right back up,turned off, removed key........fan motor kept running. Any idea where to start? JOE

Turn mode switch to OFF with the ignition switch also OFF. Does the blower keep running?
If yes, the blower relay is probably shorted in the "closed" position.
If no, pull fuse # F24 under the dash and turn the mode switch to any other position (ignition still OFF).
If the fan runs in this state, you're probably experiencing one of the "leaky windshield syndrome" symptoms and there's a cross-circuit short in the under-dash fuse box.
If yes, the blower relay is probably shorted in the "closed" position.
