My 2010 f150 came new with a Generation 3 alarm installed at the dealer. The truck was a transfer from Texas to Louisiana. This alarm drives me crazy. If I get inside and lock the door with the door lock button and wait 2 minutes then ulock with the door button and open the door the alarm goes off.
If I lock the doors with the remote button and then open the door with the key..the alarm goes off. In order to cancle the alarm I have to put the key in and turn to run and press this little red button under the steering wheel.
How can I disable this alarm system? Pull a fuse? Which one?... Cut a wire?...Which one? Take it out? How? I don't need this aggrivation! I like unlocking my truck with a key. Help will be appericated.
