Fog Light bulbs...info needed for aftermarket purch
I have the factory fog lights on my 2001 Supercrew. What bulb is that in there? 55w H3? The same as the old 9145's?
I want to order some aftermarket replacement bulbs (yellow or gold) and don't know which bulbs to order....I just want to replace the color and keep the wattage the same. Here's a link for some specialty bulbs, but don't know if they're the right ones...

Thanks much!

If they are the 9145's, the9006's work. I have them in my factory fog lights. you just have to unscrew the plastic piece first then install the bulb.
P.S. stay away from the high wattage (100w/80wbulbs) the fog light refractors will melt off inside the housing.

Just an FYI
I just traded trucks on sunday & tryed to change the bulbs between the 2 truck--I had the blue bulbs in my 98. The old bulbs were a H3 and the new bulbs are a H10. I am still yet to find a higher watt bulb for the H10.

You will need to order 9005 bulbs. As far as I can tell, no one carries 9145... They replace the factory bulbs perfectly. The only difference is in their reflector design. Anyway, I hope that helps.
