I bought my 03 FX4 in March, and I noticed the door lights on both sides where not working, I pulled the lenses of and noticed there isin't any bulb sockets in them, just a hole where they should be. Would the sockets be behind the door panel?

 

I'd find it hard to believe that your doors aren't wired for those courtesy lights.

Especially since (or if) you have power windows and locks already.

 

I agree, I do have p/w & p/l, I guess I'll have to take the door panel off to see it it's wired?

 

yea they deleted them in late 02 IIRC

I havent looked to see if its prewired, never really cared. I would imagine its in the kick panel (just inside the door) but not actually inside the door

 

Thanx for the tip, easier to take the kick panel off to see.
