Interior Lights and Cargo Lights

Just recently my 2006 F150 XLT Supercrew interior lights and cargo lights fail to illuminate...I can operate map and dome lights manually with switch...dimmer dial doesnt work, and I did notice last night the lights(Led) were on oh so dim, but on, then faded as I started truck....they again also came on..dimly when I turned off truck and opened door....any ideas? Headlight switch, computer?

Have you had your cluster out for anything ?

The functions you are talking about are controlled by the cluster with the PWM_DIM_OUT function.

I could only hope a connector is loose on the cluster, but if it was I would think there would be issues with the battery saver relay function as well ( same connector C220B ).

Hard to tell if the battery saver function is working, that would require leaving a door open, and see if the lights turn off, but that is one of the data points where you are seeing the symptoms.

No cluster has not been out...battery saver works because the radio shut off the other day when I was waiting for my wife shopping....I will have to check cluster connection..

Radio is the accessory delay relay, not the battery saver relay
