2001 F150 ignition problem

I have a 2001 F150 5.4L. While driving down the road my oil guage bottoms out the oil light comes on and the engine starts knocking. I shift the truck to neutral shut it off and coast to the side of the road. The truck was about 2 quarts low. after letting it cool adding the needed oil I went to crank and got nothing...no power, guages maxing out and dropping and 2 relays under dash clicking. I get the truck towed home and find out the battery was dead. I replace the battery and all power returns and relays stop clicking, but when I try to crank the starter just clanks. I checked the relay on the fire wall and it seems fine(Im getting voltage and using a screwdriver it engages the starter but still just a clank), I pulled the starter off and had it checked and it is fine. Can anyone tell me what has happened to my truck?

First, welcome to F-150 online!

Sounds like your engine is locked up.

Thank you, I really didn't want to hear that but that's what it looks like to me too. I was just hoping their might be a safety sensor or something to keep it from cranking I just had to reset.
