Anyone got a Wiring Scematic for the 09 F-150 FX4 SCrew?

Looking for the reverse light trigger wire under the dash near the fuse box?

Also looking for an Ignition + in the same area or two

The only reverse circuit that I see with a fairly short look is going towards the rear view camera display and / or the auto dimming interior mirror.

Don't know if you have those options or not in your trim level ( not 100% on what the FX4 was like in 09 if there was a FX4 and FX4-Lux and which options are in which.. )

In connector C215 in the passenger side kick panel is the Blue wire for the items listed above ( if installed ), it is pin # 6 in connector C215 ( 8 above the connector marked in red on the right side ).

The Ign +, what are you calling this ?
- Hot in run only ?
- Hot in run / accy ?

do you have a feature / item you want it to work with ( i.e. radio ) ?
- This would only be a < 1A trigger wire as well.

Yeah I don't have the back up cam... needing the actual one that triggers the lights... as for the ignition + i'm looking for something to trigger a relay to power Aux reverse lights. I'll run the triggers thru diodes and will need an ignition + while Run/ Acc to run thru a switch so i can turn them on in park for loading the boat at night, another trigger from reverse so they come on anytime i'm backing up, and unlike my last truck this time I'm going to also hook them up to the domelight supervision... so when I unlock the truck via the key fob they come on like my headlights do so the rear of the truck is lit up like the chevy's... (only feature I like from a chevy)

Don't cross wire colors between F150 and SuperDuty and between model years, it does not work.

The wire from the DTR to the reverse relay is a blue wire.
All of these is in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box / engine compartment fuse panel ).
The output of the reverse relay is a Gray w/ Brown stripe wire.

I'm trying to find that C215 harness plug... that would be perfect would really rather grab these wires in the cab... I don't like making connections under the hood... don't want anyone to see them on a quick inspection... That C215 plug should still be there even if only one sided (w/o back up cam) I just need a trigger as i'll be running a dedicated power source via a new relay just need a trigger to flip the relay when in reverse... once I find that i'll then need just an ignition + trigger (on when in accy) to run thru a switch to fire the relay as well...

Sure it was not easy, I only have the 3D CAD pictures to refer to, which is not saying much. You have the real hands on experience now.

Just be sure of what you are splicing it to, you don't want to add a large load to it ( anything > 1A ).

Yeah I'm just using it to fire a relay actual power source is pulled direct from the battery... Bad part is I got it all done and the reverse portion is working fine... and the dome light supervision is working fine as well but it's causing the relay to Buzz real loud when the dome light activates or deactivates it... I think thats caused from the fact it dims up and dims down... Posted up on a wiring guru site hoping someone has a fix for that... for the time being i pulled the dome light section and just left it actiavted by putting the truck in reverse... Still gotta find an ignition wire so I can add a toggle switch to fire off that relay as well...

You can try a voltage regulator. Radio Shack carries the LM117 in the past, they might have the fixed value ones that will work to a level and shut off.

The LM117 you can set to supply + VDC for the relay coil ( cut sheet on it will show the operating range for the coil ) until the dome lamp dims to a point, and then the LM117 would shut off at some percentage of dim to the dome lamps.

Something to think about, and easy enough to get the parts at most radio shacks.

Pretty close to the other suggestion I got on the 12 volt wiring site... but I think that one is a lil easier... put a capasitor across the coil and a diode on the feed wire from the dome light (the diode is already there to stop back feed from the other sources) The capasitor will keep a charge long enough to allow the coil to properly connect and disconnect...
