So I was reading up on the remote start accessories and saw that ford has a plug and play long range bi-directional remote start. My new truck has the Lock + 2x remote start built into the fob.

Am I correct in assuming that the one that is built in is limited to the normal fob lock/unlock range?

Answered my own question. It sure is. Pretty much useless unless your truck is right outside your door. I'll get em to put the long range bidirectional in instead.
