06 Factory "Vehicle Security System"

06 Factory "Vehicle Security System"
I have an OEM Vehicle Security System in my 06 F-150. It's made by (or at least has the logo) Ford.

I can live with having the alarm not that I care for it.. but the thing is set up to chirp the horn when unlocking and then chirp twice when I lock the care (with the factory keyless entry FOB). It also makes me use the keyless to send another "unlock" if I don't start it within about 30-60 seconds of unlocking the truck with the keyless which is fine about 90% of the time.. but sometimes you just want to unlock the truck to dump something in the back seat then by the time you're ready to go I have to use the keyless again to "unlock" which is another horn chirp... then it'll start.
I could probably figure out removing the thing in all but really I just want to disable the chirps.. anyone have a manual on this? I pulled the lower dash apart to look at it.. it has a jack similar to ear phones (3.5mm) they installed with some brown wires and then an LED that is tied up under the dash which I assume you normally mount in the dash. I bought this from a dealership which has no idea about this (not Ford) and I'd prefer not paying a lot of money for something that seems like it should be simple.

Found a URL to the 2007 VSS owners manual ( got if off gensen prior to them not supporting Ford bronze-silver-gold systems ).

Thanks for the reply! -- I actually had found this manual with my googling before I posted.. I suppose I should have mentioned it. I am pretty certain that this manual is for a newer unit than my alarm based on the shown wireless remote entry FOB and the controller being apparently more modern. It is entirely possible they put in an alarm for an older vehicle? Or perhaps the 2007 had a new security system. My unit doesn't have a base with someone to snap into it and it doesn't have nearly the wiring harnesses the unit your had manuals for. I'll tear my dash apart again and snap off the clam shell... maybe there is a part number on the inside.
