Instrument Cluster Issue

After searching the forum here ive gathered some good info however most threads were slightly different then my problem.

1997 f150 4.2l 4x4

My cluster stopped working with exception of the speedo. My gauges actually ever so slightly come off their rest position when the key is switched on but do nothing more ever. Thats where i felt this was a little different then what ive come across so far in other threads were others seem to be completely dead.

Lights work, everything else seems good. All fuses checked out.

Looking to see if i cant narrow it down better that what i have it...
Gem?, ICVR? Then maybe cluster itself?

Kinda doubting its the PCM

Taking all opinions

I have a white glow face and mine was acting up too, speedo was all that worked. I popped my needles off and barely pushed them back on. It worked for me

I'd be guessing the ignition switch, itself.

I'd also be checking the battery output and making sure all battery connections are tight.

Looked ????

Either the meter shows power on both pins on the back of the fuse or not. Nothing subjective about it.

Well the alternator went out completely just two days ago and thought for a second that i figured out the cause being when i lose an alt in my f150 the gauges do the same thing... Well not this time. At least as of now its got a good alt and good numbers to go with it. Something to rule out anyhow
