So this morning I went out to the truck to leave(after starting and letting warm up with remote start) put the key in, turned to the on position and now my dash lights do not work in auto mode. Anyone dealt with this issue?

 

Does the instrument illumination work in the park position on the main headlamp switch ?

If so, do the parking lamps work in the autolamp position ?

 

Yeah I have headlights in park with the headlight switch in the auto position.

 

But not dash lights, have to switch headlight switch to on position for dash lights to work.

You have instrument illumination with the headlamps on ( which should mean the parking lamps are on ).

do the parking lamps work in the autolamp position ?

 

SSCULLY, yes i have instrumentation lights with the headlamps are on and yes I have parking lamps in the auto setting.

I just had this compustar remote start installed last week, i think they may have a faulty connection as this morning when I parked the truck at work, i switched the lamps back to auto mode and now have dash lights.
