What tape?

This is a pretty long shot question but ill throw it out there anyway....I have to replace my ground (negative) battery cable so i had to cut the tape holding the plastic heat shield around both the pos and neg wires to get the ground cable out...Also there was tape in 2 places holding the whole wire assembly heat shield and all, to these plastic tie down things. 1 on the front of the motor and 1 on the lower frame so I had to cut the tape there also...My question is, does anyone know what kind of tape ford used? Its black but definitely not electrical tape...It has to be somewhat heat resistant and when I was cutting it, it had some type of "fibers" in it....Anyone know what this tape is or where to get it? Thanks

It's VERY difficult to find (not one roll in Memphis, the distribution center of the US), and expen$ive when you do find it. But I managed to track down a retailer after calling the manufacturer.

Thanks for the reply Turns out I dont need it anymore since I had to replace the positive cable also so I just ordered the whole thing from ford and it came all taped up ready to install! For future reference though, where did you order it from?
