I have a 98 expedition that had the lights in the running boards, that came on when u ulocked it with the keyless entry and went off when u closed the door

I removed the running boards so i was wondering how i could wire it up to make the parking lights come on like the running board lights did?

 

check your owners manual to see if you can turn on/off perimeter lighting. i think you can do this for your particular model.
