wiring tow mirrors

so im putting these mirrors on my truck (04 xlt, power, no heat or signal) but i cant figure out how to move the pins. i dont want to break anything, is there a special tool i need to do this? also which side of the harness will i be changing?(mirror or truck side). on the driver side of the truck harness i believe that the blinker wire is green with a white stripe, the driver side mirror also has the same wire, do i connect these two for the bilnkers? i know the passenger is different color wires.

next thing is, the diagram i got that shows the pins locations has i believe 4 more slots for pins than my truck has i think. does anyone have a diagram that they can send me that they know is the correct one?

any help is appreciated, thank you

Not too sure what diagram you are looking at.

2004 connector

2007 Connector

The 2 diagrams in the 2006 EVTM are :

Myself, I would change the mirror itself, so the next time mirrors are needed to be done on the truck, the connector matches what the MY the truck is.

To remove the pins, there is a Metripack pin extraction tool.

This releases the tab on the pin, and allows it to slide out of the connector shell.

Not too sure what you are looking at, but a few threads have the pin numbers that need to be moved.

There are more threads on the mirror swap.
