I have a 1999 f150 and the driver side switch was starting to go bad. Anyway I got a new switch and the driver side works perfect but now the passenger side switch (the one onthe drivers door) goes down when you push up and up when down. I can't return it or exchange. So my question is can I just switch the wires going to the switch. I figured I could find which wires do what with a test light. Anyone else ever seen or heard of something like this?

 

This morning, I went and disassembled the plug to the switch and switched 2 wires and I worked perfect. Gotta love the Ford electrical Gremlins.
