Do you want to install this on the trailer tow adapter ?
- This would be so the load & fusing is separate from the trucks stop / turn / tail lamps.

What SSCULLY suggested is the best.....

Otherwise if you use your tail light wiring you might pucker your bulb out warning system....

I was more focused on the additional load on the DTR for the reverse lamps, did not even get to the bulb out function or the FET control of the S/T lamps.

EDIT :

Don't know why I did not recall it at the time, the 2009 + MY F150s have a reverse lamp relay for all reverse lamps, it is not directly driven from the DTR anymore. The DTR powers the coil on the reverse Lamp relay.

Load ( within reason ) is not an issue with the truck's reverse circuit, trailer tow still offers a fuse separate from the truck's lamps, but this can be cured with an inline fuse of the correct size, from the truck's reverse lamps to the item. Still would watch the load being placed on the reverse lamp relay ( don't go with 2x 100W aux lamps directly ).

This is the diagram for the trailer tow adapter.

At the back of the 7 pin trailer tow adapter, you can do an inline solder splice to attach the LED light bar.

I would just plug it in. I did a light bar on my 08 F250 and nothing but problems. Water got into the connection and is was constantly putting off the check engine light. Just plug it into the hitch connector in the back.
