Angry Radio inteference from the fan

This didn't happen when I bought this truck new. It's a 99F-150XLT, regular cab. I replaced the radio about 7-8 years ago when I installed Sirius. In the last year or so (BTW it has 370,000 miles on it) when the fan is on I get tremendous interference on what appear to be the weaker channels.

I turn the fan off and the reception is great. I turn it on and it seems like everytime it fires there is interference. It doen't happen on some stations but they're the stronger stations.

Any ideas as to why this started? What I might do to stop it? It only happens when the fan is on. I leave it off and it's clear as a bell.

Thanks,

Al in TN

check your wiring, could be a lose ground or something.

Please specify what you are listening to when the interference occurs. Sirius (if so, via what interface), original radio, aftermarket radio, AM station, FM station, etc.....

It's an aftermarket Panasonic radio. It happens on FM and AM both.
