Aye, I have. And I will again without any doubt. However, I am always open to learning how things work and understanding the processes involved so I can respond accurately in the future. The post above that I critiqued was seriously in error and, if left unidentified as such, would waste the time (and money) of anyone attempting to follow that advice. In this particular case, you may wish to review the current, ongoing thread regarding this symptom from another forum member.

If regards to the post regarding the shift interlock that you chose to highlight, please consult the factory schematics (not the over-simplified owner's manual) and you will see that in that particular case, my statement was 100% correct. You'll have to look harder to find an error (of which there are plenty).

Cheers!

04 blowing fuse 102

I have a 2004 fx4 crew cab that I bought used with 137k miles , had it about a week and this morning I went to crank it and mid start all the electrical died , after some troubleshooting I found fuse 102 blows everytime the key is turned to start. Remove the starter relay and the fuse does not blow , the starter will roll over if I jump the connectors with a screwdriver , so the assumption I have come up with is there is a short between the sjb under the hood to the starter , any help would be appreciated
